Riley Simmons brings nearly three decades of leadership in municipal finance, serving as Senior Vice President at several firms, including an investment banking role at a major Wall Street institution. Over the course of his career, he participated in financings totaling billions of dollars nationwide, helping governments, nonprofits, and corporations reduce debt costs and fund projects in education, housing, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Before joining the investment banking community, Mr. Simmons worked in Washington, D.C., contributing to the development of federal education regulations affecting local school systems nationwide. He later served under a Presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Education, supporting national initiatives and policy implementation. Also, Mr. Simmons has substantial experience in strategic planning and program development.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Simmons has served on multiple nonprofit boards reflecting his long-standing commitment to civic and community leadership.
He studied at Harvard University, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bishop College, and holds a Master of Public Administration from Southern Methodist University.
